Motion Age & Athleticism Assessments

Our motion assessments use cutting-edge, markerless analysis to transform movement into actionable insight — helping athletes, professionals, and wellness clients improve performance, reduce injury risk, and sustain long-term mobility and health.

Protocols

IMPACT Motion offers two evidence-informed protocols—Motion Age and Athleticism—each designed to evaluate, track, and improve physical performance and well-being. Every session includes a brief warm-up, guided camera-based capture, and instant quality checks to ensure accurate results. Scans are efficient (5–10 minutes per person, with 10–15 minutes for review) and can be delivered on-site through our mobile setup.

  • Motion Age: Provides a clear picture of functional movement, balance, and mobility—helping identify risk factors and track changes over time.
  • Athleticism: Targets performance development by revealing movement strengths, asymmetries, and opportunities to improve power, speed, and agility.

Movements Analyzed

We evaluate multi-joint mobility, balance, symmetry, and power using validated movements from the Motion Age and Athleticism libraries. Each session is tailored to your goals—general wellness, athletic performance, return-to-play, or job-specific readiness—providing objective insight into how your body moves, compensates, and produces force.

  • Mobility & Range: Upper body – abduction, rotation, flexion, extension; Lower body – squats, lunges (lateral & split), single-leg control
  • Balance & Stability: Static and dynamic balance holds (tandem, stork, single-leg)
  • Power & Elasticity: Jump series (vertical, single-leg, drop/concentric) measuring strength and control

Review

Results are reviewed immediately after each scan—highlighting key findings, movement quality, and areas for improvement. Detailed reports are securely shared electronically for review with your PT, orthopedic, chiropractor, or coach, supporting injury prevention, return-to-work/play readiness and ongoing performance tracking.

  • Comparative analytics against validated movement databases
  • Targeted recommendations for mobility, strength, and control
  • Progress tracking to support recovery, readiness, and performance
